Ground Training

HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT

1. We are proud to share that as of now, our results are best in comparison to any other contemporary institute in India. Wherein DGCA result was just 8% candidates passing in Navigation exam, we had 80%+ passing rate in our class. In general 80% people pass more than three subjects in their very first attempt. For record purposes, we had two students passed all 5 subjects in their very first attempt and that too without any earlier experience. About 5 to 10% people pass in four subjects. In classes we mean serious business. Students are made to write impositions for hundreds and thousand times if their knowledge level is below par!!! We are really not worried if some students quit somewhere down the line because of strict standardization. There is no place for substandard students. Schedule is very strict and so is the required standards and situation is a kin to ‘do or die’ and ‘survival for fittest’. In simple words “ WE CHOOSE OUR STUDENTS”. And as a matter of interest, our students are now ‘ Toppers’ in written test conducted by various airlines.

2. All details of our ex students are available to anyone and everyone including their contact numbers for reference.

ON GROUND TRAINING

3.
With the opening of Indian Aviation Sector, there has been a tremendous upsurge in the number of people opting Aviation as career. Normally, in most parts of the world, Ground Training and Flying training go hand in hand. In any case, knowledge of the ground subject is the stepping stone before sitting in aircraft.

4. In developed countries, Ground training encompasses all aspects of Aviation training. There are ground classes for PPL, CPL, ATPL, Instrument Flying training, Instructor Rating etc. Even there are separate ground classes conducted for learning aerobatic flights. The idea behind ground classes has always been that one acquires all the knowledge for gaining certain proficiency or rather piloting skill depending on the stage and experience before actually starts flying.. Most of the learning takes place on ground and all that one needs is to practice these acquired skill in cockpit and progresses to next stage. Most of us , who are into this profession will vouch for the fact that how important is ‘CHAIR FLYING’. GROUND TRAINING NEVER STOPS IN AVIATOR’S CAREER AND IT IS AN ON GOING PROCESS.

5. It is infact upsetting that in India, Ground Classes means training for passing few exams conducted by concerned governing body. So, all one learns in these classes is basic arithmetic, geometry, trigonometry etc and only part of these training is really focused on grooming as an aviator.

WHAT YOU SHOULD LOOK FORWARD FOR

6.
You should be self-motivated rather than pushed by circumstances. The only way to achieve good standard is ‘Hard Work’. One should be able to assimilate all the subjects within stipulated time duration and required standards. At the same time one must handle pressure during these classes because for everything there are set standards and requirements are very clear.

HOW MUCH TIME IT TAKES FOR THE CLASSES

7. In general it takes around 2 ½ months to reach CPL standards and average duration of each class works out approx 5 hours. Saturdays and Sundays are holidays subjected to overall performance of the Group. The timings are either morning 0730-1200 or evening 1600 to 2000 hrs. 80% classes are conducted in morning. AT A TIME THERE IS ONLY ONE BATCH. On holidays class timings are around 6 to 7 hours a day.

ACCOMMODATION

8.
Limited accommodation is available for stay during the course, which is purely on request and first come first serve basis. The venture is on NO PROFIT AND NO LOSS BASIS. Adequate precaution is observed on basic amenities. It is not one of the best accommodations but it does provide good study atmosphere
